Always Yours, Baby is the 4th book in The Baby Saga series by Airicka Pheonix. Each book in this series is a stand-alone novel but with appearances of characters from the other books.
This is the first book I have read by Airicka Phoenix and I thought it was ok. I wasn’t head over heels in love with it by any means but I thought it was cute. I liked Willa but Damon annoyed me. I typically don’t care for male characters that aren’t confident and Damon wasn’t confident at all and honestly barely felt confident even at the end.
I think my biggest struggle with this book was that it was trying to be a romance novel and a crime/mystery novel at the same time but it almost felt like two separate books that were both undeveloped and thrown together. It felt like the first half of the book was solely focused on Willa and Damon’s relationship with tiny little glimpses that I assume were meant to set up some suspense for the crime drama that unfolded in the last half.
I can’t really say either way whether I would recommend this series. I think if you have the time it’s not a bad series to check out but I can’t tell you to run right out and buy it.
