Flaw is the first in the Flaw series by Ryan Ringbloom but can be read as a standalone.

This is the second novel I’ve read by Ryan. I wrote a review for Fake Boobs back in March and it can be found here

I felt much the same way about Flaw as I did about Fake Boobs. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. I was very much indifferent about it.

Flaw essentially has four main characters. Aidan who has a facial disfigurement, Josh who still hasn’t grown up and lives off his parents money, Becca who is Aidan’s next door neighbor and best friend, and Jordyn who is a kinda-friend to Becca and becomes friends with the group. They all push the boundaries of their relationships as they all try to live their lives and move on from their pasts and the things that haunt them.

Overall I thought it was a cute story but my biggest issue with it was the pacing felt very slow. I kept wanting to skip pages just to get to a part where something would happen.
